I am a qualified, registered and experienced Civil Marriage Celebrant and Civil Partnership Notary, bringing rich life experience and much enthusiasm to my role as a full time professional celebrant.

I am an active member of the professional association Australian Marriage Celebrants and also teach with Australian Celebrations Training Pty Ltd providing training for beginning and experienced celebrants.

I am a Justice of the Peace and have lived in the ACT for over 30 years and service the local and surrounding areas. My background is in Education. Before becoming a celebrant I was a teacher and Deputy Principal, a profession I loved.

I am an internationally published author and have wide experience in public speaking, to a variety of audiences and in a variety of media. I have spoken to professional groups, parent groups, at conferences and to literary gatherings.

You will have the benefit of all my experience and many ideas and suggestions for the wording of your ceremony. You can write as much or a little as you like. My client pack has ideas for all parts of the ceremony, ways to write personal vows, examples of how to make the ceremony uniquely yours, examples of different rituals, ideas for music, an easy way for changing your name. It makes the process fun and easy.

I will also help you at the rehearsal at the venue with how best to use the space and give you suggestions for making the bride’s entry especially memorable for both you and your guests. Before the ceremony we will have decided all these details so that you can both relax and be free to enjoy the moment.

You’ll find that the ceremony will run smoothly and beautifully. My style is relaxed but dignified. Together, we will create memories that will be with you forever and you will both have a great day.
